Mauricio & Jim Backyard Wedding | Houston, TX
December 14, 2017
October 7th 2017
Jim and Mauricio first met at a Mauricio’s place of employment, a frame shop, where Jim had brought in a large painting to get framed. The two quickly became friends and shortly after Jim asked Mauricio out on a date. Jim confessed that he never quite understood the point of marriage until he met Mauricio and from then on, wanted to just be around him all the time. How incredible is that?
“Most important in our relationship is together time and communication. We have so much going on, so it’s important we make a point to spend quality time together.” — Mauricio
The inspiration for their backyard wedding at the couple’s Spanish Colonial home was Oaxaca, Mexico, with its beautiful architecture and lush gardens. They dressed the backyard with bright colors and used the tropical garden as a backdrop for the events. Mauricio spent over six months preparing the details and decorations of their wedding in planning the whole event.
Wishing you two the best!!!
